Why should I take this class?

Because Health Safety encompasses everything we do, regardless of whether you are a Carpet Cleaner, a Water and Fire Restorer or a Mould or Meth remediator … This class should be your first IICRC class, not one of your last and here is why.
The goal of the course is to provide attendees with the skills, knowledge, and awareness they need to save lives and prevent work related injuries and illnesses and to recognize and appreciate the value of health and safety on the job.

Who should attend?

It is also designed to put you ahead in the cleaning and restoration industry to show the homeowner, insurance company or adjuster you and your staff is ahead of the competition regarding health and safety.
The course will promote the understanding of the importance of health and safety in the workplace, as it should add value to workplace by increasing morale, improving productivity, and reducing turnover.
The course promotes the importance of hazard and risk assessments and how to implement controls on the identified hazards. The hierarchy of hazard controls will be emphasised in the class so that eliminating, reducing, and controlling hazards will become the focus of health and safety instead of just regulatory compliance.
The message is simple – safety and health add value to your business, workplace, and life.
